We have been dealing with Rod Carmichael of Duke Letting Since 1991. In 1998 he took over the management of a block of 12 purpose built flats which, in our opinion, he has managed in a very efficient and professional manner. He has overseen improvements to the exterior of the property and dealt very promptly with any problems that have arisen. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

Born and brought up in Piltdown and Uckfield, Rod gathered useful experience through farming, forestry, gardening and property renovation both locally and abroad. He began working in the letting industry over 25 years ago and has excellent local knowledge and with experience of letting properties both his own and through Duke Letting.

Uckfield is a pleasant town with an excellent community spirit and a population of around 15,000. It is in a good central position, with several large towns good for shopping within 20 to 45 minutes away. The town has a Tesco and Waitrose, both offering home delivery. Other large retailers include Halfords, Boots, WH Smith and Peacocks, as well as a good variety of specialist retailers and coffee shops.
