In 1981 Chrissie Ganjou decided to help her father out by letting his Bedford Court Mansions apartment in the heart of Bloomsbury to one or two friends working at the nearby Royal Opera House. As word spread in the Opera Houses, Theatre Land and mansion blocks of the West End, Chrissie agreed to act as an agent, letting a small selection of high-quality flats; Central London Apartments Ltd was born. At one stage Central London Apartments Ltd was letting 50 individual apartments to musicians, academics and tourists from across the globe.
