I have been a tenant of MRC since 2019. Initial application was extremely professional and pleasant and made me feel welcome in their office.

As someone else pointed out, they do inspections every 6 months and are thorough in doing so, but always courteous and polite. As I have pets in the property, they cannot enter my home without me being there because otherwise I would trust them to inspect without my presence.

Whenever I have had maintenance issues (which was only two or three times in four years as they keep on top of all checks and always ask of any issues at inspections), it was resolved promptly.

MRC restored my faith in letting agencies.

We had one property in Hull which contained four one bedroomed flats. It was the worst performing property in our portfolio causing us continual problems with damage, arrears, and tenant voids. MRC had been suggested to us at a time when we were considering cutting our losses and selling. This is now our best performing property and most importantly for retired people, our least troublesome property.

We have had very good advice and help from the team of Jo, Russ, Rick, Josh and Katie who have helped first of all get the property in shape, and most importantly keep it in good shape. As a result of their advice and management the property now contains four flats plus a bedsit and has a five year contract set up by MRC. We trust the MRC team implicitly and are delighted with their management and financial reporting. We now have a property which is well run and maintained and, with a regular and predictable income. Unable between February and August to find new student tenants for our large 8 bed house in Hull, we approached MRC for help. Their response has been excellent. Within the short space of 2 months the MRC staff have been extremely helpful, professional and effective - removing all the stress from us and managing the journey from advising us on marketing the property, finding and 'persuading' suitable tenants of the property's potential, drawing up contracts, managing contractors to complete the minor repairs needed and preparing a detailed inventory prior to the tenants occupying the house. In the beginning, Jo and Danielle were brilliant in keeping us informed by phone and email during every step of the marketing process. Their knowledge of the local market and their assessment of our possible outcomes proved very accurate, and we are very pleased that we followed their very helpful and friendly advice. Russ Flanaghan was an enormous help to us on site, working very closely with us to identify areas that would benefit from improvement and he managed contractors into the property at a moment's notice to rectify any issues that cropped up. He listened carefully to Tenant comments and communicated them to us very quickly and efficiently together with speedy contractor quotes to ensure that these tenant priorities were addressed quickly by us in order to help secure the Tenancy. Thank you also for a very thorough Inventory with lots of photographic evidence. We now have a signed contract and tenants who will hopefully find themselves well looked after by MRC. We feel we know and trust the MRC staff well already. Any call from us to Russ or the MRC staff in the office has been answered without fail and without delay during the whole process with office staff helping us to resolve any query we had. I was looking for a new investment property and I found that MRC actually listened to my requirements. Their honest guidance which included the negatives and potential challenges was a stark contrast to other agents I have used. The property I bought was completed with no complications and their advice on suitable tradesman was excellent. Many of these I now use maintaining my other properties. It is now managed by MRC and I am very happy with the arrangements in place. All the staff are personable and very professional.
