| Candidate CV resume: | I find myself in the unfortunate position of being made redundant last week, hence I am now on the hunt for a new position. I started my lettings career around 14 years ago at Alan de Maid in Petts Wood. Looking for more responsibility and a new challenge, I then moved on to Your Move in Bromley and was there for 9 years. After such a long period, it was time for a change and moved on to JDM Bromley, which was my last postion of employment. I really like this kind of role because of the variety that is on offer. Every day is different because you are dealing with the general public, a range of properties and the market changes through the year. I am ARLA qualified and currently hold ARLA membership. I am familiar with lettings legislation and always open to going on refresher courses to keep up to date. I feel confident in dealing with Landlords and tenants, both in person and on the phone and have no problem discussing all aspects of lettings with them. I have gained a lot of experience over the years in registering Landlords and tenants, discussing services on offer and fees, arranging market appraisals and viewings, taking and negotiating offers, banking deposits and fees, progressing references and keeping each party updated until these are concluded, preparing initial paperwork and tenancy agreements, booking inventories (and check ins), arranging gas safety's and any remedial works before tenant moves in, dealing with renewals and rent reviews, if appropriate, renewing gas safety's and arranging check outs. I am capable of using MS Word, Outlook, CFP and Encore but can pick up new systems quickly. |
