If you are a landlord with a residential property in the Telford area, or are considering buying a property to let and would like expert help and/or advice, we recommend that you contact us now to maximise the potential in your investment. As a landlord you are liable for the insurance of your building and the contents you supply within the tenancy. Tenants are responsible for arranging insurance for their own contents. We can arrange your building and contents insurances for you with a company that specialises in insurance for landlords. Once we are in receipt of this together with the Setting Up Fee, the property will be reserved for you pending credit checks. If you have not already provided us with the documentary evidence requested (eg ID, payslips etc), you would have a maximum of 5 working days to do this. The setting up fee can be paid by cash or cheque, made payable to Oak County Property Management, or transferred by Bacs to our account. Please call for details. If you wish to bring the application in to the office then you must ring to make an appointment.

Oak County will ensure all safety aspects of a property, including gas safety checks, etc, are carried out timely and efficiently and deal with all reported repairs/maintenance in a prompt and courteous manner, only instructing contractors who have proved to be reliable and trustworthy over time. You can download the form now! We will then ask you to supply certain documentation to assist us with referencing, within 5 working days. A security deposit, equivalent to the minimum of one months rent, together with the first months rent in advance, is required on MOST of our properties.
